10th Place in XPSL and 16th in NPPL

Kolohe in the novice division XPSL finished prelims 3-4-1 record just shy of making Sunday to end up in 10th place and 2nd overall in the series. We also sported our new Jerseys at the VEGAS XPSL thanks to XternalPaintball.com and handed out Verve Energy Drinks at the event who is our newest Sponsor!
At NPPL we managed a 5-3 record and seeded 16th. Once again make Sunday Club but also once again we got knocked out by Arsenal Predators who are a great team and ended up placing 3rd at the event.

6th place in Novice
Kolohe in the novice division finished prelims with a 6-2 record securing a 3rd place seed for Sunday. Shooting XO's Menace and Vein paint, Eclipse Egos and Stiffis proved to be a winning formula.
Although the paint and equipment were perfect we were unable to hold off the Splat Kidz in the 3rd game of our Elite 8 match off. With less than a minute left, the Splat Kidz pulled off a key run through to break the game open and hang the flag with 18 seconds left. Just shy of the top 4, but we still had a great time at perhaps the best run XPSL event ever!
FreeAgents.us, made their debut in XPSL. This is a program run by Kolohe to allow team less players to play events such as XPSL and NPPL. They finished 17th just barely missing finals only to find out that sunday a team got DQd for an illegal roster bumping them to 16th place. This throw together team played great and had lots of fun. PaintballWebpages.com - Another FreeAgents.us throw together team ended up 46th out of 56 teams. Not great but they still performed well and had a great time. To top it off they were one of 2 teams to end up in the local Bakersfield paper, including photos, player names and the team name mentioned.

KOLOHE @ NPPL SD - Commander's Cup: 12/1/2007
5th place D2, 9th Place D3.
Kolohe in the D2 division cruised through with a 7-0-1 record securing a 2nd place seed in prelims. With teams such as HB Bushwhackers, Galvanized, NeX, EPIC, Ground Control and more, it was a tough bracket. XO designer series paint shot FLAWLESSLY helping to insure no problems on the field, even in the rain. Sunday led to a rematch against Galvanized during sweet 16 matches. In 3 games Kolohe sealed the win and moved on to Elite 8 where we faced off against Predators. After dropping the first game we came out on fire and quickly won game 2. Game 3 began with a few mistake on our part and with 30 seconds left we lost by 2 bodies. Predators moved on to secure 3rd place. Kolohe ended up 5th place for the event and 23rd overall in only 3 events.
Kolohe Boyz, stomped their way through prelims with a 7-1 record and were seeded #1. Again, with tough teams in their bracket such as FYT, Magnum and PB Warehouse, it was not an easy bracket. HKN went on to edge out Kolohe Boyz in the Sweet 16 bracket and eventually to get 2nd place. Kolohe Boyz finished 9th for the event and had a great run.
PaintballWebpages.com (Kolohe Kidz) on day one finished with a 2-1-1 record, including the stalemate against Go for Broke. However, day 2 lead to problems and the team could not pull it together. They played with heart and had a great time!

KOLOHE @ XPSL OCEANSIDE

Kolohe Boyz, in the Intermediate division, for the 2nd event in a row made Sunday. Seeded 10th place they had to face HKN in the sweet 16 stand offs. After 2 games with, 1 win and 1 lose, they moved on to the elite 8 since HKN was DQ'd for an illegal roster. Up against EPIC in the the Elite 8 Kolohe Boyz fought hard and were edged out by epic by 2 bodies each game. Epic went on to win 1st place.
Kolohe Kidz in only their 2nd 7-man event ever won 3 of their 8 games and stalemated 2. A good showing for them and lots of improvement was seen since their last XPSL.
Kolohe in the novice division struggled with paint issues and some bad calls but still managed to be 1 game out of sunday. Tough luck and NPPL SD will be a much better showing since XO paint will be bring their paint to the event!

KOLOHE TEAMS AT SPLAT RIOT 4

Kolohe entered 2 teams. In the novice division we entered a mixed roster for Novs and Rookies under the name Paintballwebpages.com in YGs we entered as Kolohe by GoggedPaintball.com.
Our Ygs Team finished up 6th place while our Novice Team placed 3rd after losing in semi's to NXN. Though it was a decent event the location, Hollywood Sports, led to eventual theft of a pair of white Grill Goggles and a complete marker set up which was later returned.

XPSL FRESNO - KOLOHE BOYS MAKE SUNDAY
9/7/2007
We missed San Jose in 7-Man but really wanted to make the Fresno event. Such a great location and we knew it would be a good event.
Kolohe Boys made Quarter Finals despite losing points for one win and for having borrowed 4 guest for this event. On Sunday, against Fuzion, we won our first game, stalemated our second and dropped the 3rd with only 14 seconds left on the clock. The tiebreaker was ended early due to rub being called as a hit on our player. We argued but could not prevailed since our player left the field to discuss it with the team and we we unaware of that rule.
Huge thanks to Carlos, Augie, Jack and Griffin. We played very well together as a team and beat some of the best teams in our bracket.
Kolohe Kidz struggled in their first ever 7-man event. However they played awesome and almost won 6 of their games. With some closing drills they will be a threat in Oceanside.

1st and 2nd Place for Kolohe Kidz Bear's Cup Stop 4
8/12/2007 -Hollwood Sports, Bellflower, Ca
Our 4th outing at Bear cup this season. Again we entered 2 teams, both of which are in top 4 for series points.
In prelims, Kolohe Kidz Blue won every game except for a stalemate, vs. series leaders Baby Effects, to be seeded in 1st place for Ironman Finals.
Kolohe Kidz Black lost only 2 games in prelims, one to our Blue team and the other to Outkast Kidz which consisted of 3 old Kolohe Players. Thanks to a 1 on 1 win by Chris Pena, Kolohe Kidz Black seeded 3rd place for finals.
In finals Kolohe Kids Black edged out Outkast Kids by 1 body to secure 3rd place. Next game, against the 2nd seeded team, they came back after being down by 2 for yet another victory.
This set the stage for a show down for 1st and 2nd place between Blue and Black. It was a good game but in the end Blue proved why they we're seeded 1st and secured the win.

2nd Place for Kolohe Kidz Blue @ Bear's Cup Stop 3
6/2007 -Hollwood Sports, Bellflower, Ca
Our 3rd outing at Bear's cup. Again we entered 2 5-man teams. However, this time it was Kolohe Kidz Blue ending up going 4 wins and 2 stalemates in prelims to get seeded 3rd place of 16 teams.
In Ironman finals Kolohe Kidz Blue had to square off against the 4th place team. Winning a close game, with Devin Ladd pulling off a 1 on 1, they moved on to play the #2 seeded team. Down to a 2 on 2 the opposing team was looking the other way when Oreo Adams had a clear shot at pulling the flag and ran it for the hang without being seen for the victory!
Up against the #1 seeded team, Kolohe Kidz Blue played their hardest yet was edged out by Baby Effects for their 1st place Victory.
Kolohe Kidz Black seeded 7th place and played in good form losing some close games. In the event Kolohe utilized 2 walk-on players to enter a 5-man rookie team for fun. Winning their first 3 they were on a roll but fell short 1 win of making finals.
Our Eclipse gear and markers were flawless. Stiffi Barrels shot like a dream as always and X.O. Industries's paint was greatly missed due to FPO (Field Paint only)

Kolohe Teams at NPPL HB 2007
3/25/2007 -Huntington Beach,, Ca
Kolohe in D2 got off to a great start beating Throttle in their first game of the day but dropped momentum losing 3 in a row friday. They came back strong Saturday to win 3 in a row only to lose their final game by 2 bodies to Destiny. Though we finished 25th of 64 teams, we feel we are a #1 team and will prove it this season.
Kolohe Kidz D3. Played great for their first national event, ending up 28th of 67 teams. All their loses were close games and they proved they can go up against any team out there.
Kolohe Young Guns. Yet again keeping us on the podium, Kolohe Kidz Blue finished 4th out of 16 teams and proved even with new rosters that they are still a top team. Both teams played great and they had a blast at perhaps the best run NPPL Event ever.

3rd Place for Kolohe Young Guns @ Bear's Cup

Kolohe Young Guns Black went undefeated in prelims and took home yet another trophy for the team. Barely losing in Ironman finals they finished 3rd and looked strong all day.
Kolohe Kids Blue played great but were unable to edge out the teams in their brackets.

In intermediate we entered a mixed team of last years young guns, rookies and 2 novices. Got off to a slow start but finished strong to only be 6 points out of Sunday. Though we missed finals we have the whole season left to come and you'll be seeing more of Kolohe Kidz @ XPSL.
Kolohe Young Guns in their first regional event ever started out very strong maxing their first 2 games but then ran into a rut losing some tough games. They placed 13th of 19 team but are eager to improve their game for NPPL and the next event.

We picked up 4 new Young Gun players for the 2007 season and 3 of them recently attended their first event of the season. 2 of them have never played a tournament and the other only has attended one before. None-the-less, in a recent local event they went undefeated all day to place 1st! Thank you to the parents for their support and to Glen Dorman for coaching. (due to short notice the player were not outfitted in Kolohe gear and did not have a team banner, but they did thank out sponsors!)

XPSL Vegas: Kolohe Rookie 8th place, Kidz 3rd
12/1/2006 Jean, NV (aka Vegas)
Kolohe Rookie went 5-2 in prelims to be seeded 12th of 67 teams. They went on earn enough points to finish in 8th place overall for the event. Big :tup: for our first full 7 man rookie squad.
Kolohe Kidz and Paintballwebpages.com (Kolohe kidz II) seeded 4th and 8th in prelims out of 17 teams. Finals gave all 17 teams a second chance in double elimination rounds. Kolohe Kidz nabbed 3rd place and 5th place overall for the season, while Paintballwebpages.com ended up in 9th place.
Kolohe Novice got 5-7 G's every game except one, yet could not pull out a win. With no coach, captain, parent or adult to help them they seemed to struggle each game. Valuable lessons learned and they still have high spirits and will be making their mark in 2007
